Amber and Zachary's Wedding at The Barns at Willow Creek.

Amber and Zach had a country themed wedding at the Barn's at Willow Creek in Browns Valley, CA. With a slight threat of rain, the vibes stayed high and the weather ended up perfect.

The day began with a crisp March breeze rustling through the rustic charm of the Barns at Willow Creek in Browns Valley, CA, setting the stage for a love-filled celebration between Amber and Zachary.

Ceremony:

At 4:00, under the sprawling canopy of Mother Nature and about 125 guests, the ceremony commenced with a playlist of today’s country artists with a more mellow vibe. A few artists included were Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, and Tyler Childers. I was asked to share with the guests that Amber and Zach requested no one to take any photos or videos during the ceremony. This is called an “unplugged ceremony." As the sun slid behind a cloud, Amber's entrance with her father Greg was a moment of pure magic, accompanied by the soul-stirring melody of "Growing Old With You" by Restless Road. The air was filled with anticipation as Zachary stood, awaiting his bride. The couple sealed their vows with a kiss, stepping into their new chapter together to the good vibes of "Forever and Ever, Amen" by Randy Travis. (A classic choice) The newlyweds stayed at the ceremony site for family photos as the other guests made their way to the barn for cocktails.

Cocktail Hour:

Following the ceremony, guests mingled during cocktail hour, serenaded by the melodic sounds of artists such as Hardy, Bailey Zimmerman, and Morgan Wallen. Laughter echoed through the air as Drunken Burrows provided entertainment on-site, adding a touch of whimsy to the festivities. Not familiar with the Drunken Burrows? This is a family-owned business that will be your on-site bar and bring a few donkeys with saddle bags full of drinks for your guests. It’s epic, and your guests will love it. Photo ops all day!

Introductions:

As guests found their seats for dinner, the wedding party was introduced with a flourish, led by the lively beats of “Truck Bed" by Hardy. Finally, the moment arrived when Zachary and Amber were presented for the first time as a married couple, accompanied by the poignant notes of "Poor Me" by Lakeview. Following their introduction, they danced their first dance as a married couple to "Note to Self" by Randy Houser

Dinner:

Amidst the glow of warm amber lighting, dinner commenced a little after 6:00. A continued mix of country songs and guest-requested music provided the perfect backdrop for heartfelt conversations and shared moments of joy.

Toasts:

Emotions ran high as loved ones raised their glasses to toast the newlyweds. From heartfelt words of wisdom from Amber's father, Greg, to Zachary's father, Michael, sharing cherished memories, each toast was a testament to the enduring love and support surrounding the couple.

Cake Cutting:

With "I Met a Girl" by William Michael Morgan as the soundtrack, the cake cutting ceremony marked the opening of the dessert bar, delighting guests with sweet treats to savor.

Formal Dances and Moments:

Amber and her father danced to "She's Somebody's Daughter" by Drew Baldridge, and Zachary and his mother to "Can She Have this Dance" by Drew Baldridge.

Music:

Throughout the night, the dance floor was a whirl of energy and laughter, fueled by must-play hits like "Ain't That Some" by Morgan Wallen and "Already Got One" by Tyler Booth. Lots of guests requests including some line dances, Nelly, Hank Williams, Jelly Roll, and George Strait. As the evening drew to a close, "Big, Big Plans" by Chris Lane filled the air, a fitting end to a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
